What’s New in the Update
This free content drop adds a monstrous 26% new content, cementing Deck of Haunts as a must-play for fans of strategic horror.
👻 New Creatures
The mansion now has a life of its own. Summon ghastly allies, such as mischievous Imps, that stalk your halls and torment unsuspecting humans. Each creature comes with unique ability cards that slot into your deck while active, letting you command their sinister powers directly.
🃏 New Cards
New tools of terror expand your strategy:
- Architect’s Toll and Crushing Architecture scale with room tile size.
- Unstable Foundation can topple entire setups, forcing bold risks and rewarding gambits.
🚪 New Rooms
No haunted house is complete without some cursed upgrades. The new Bathroom doubles all drain effects, perfectly countering rooms like the Weapons Room that previously gave intruders a fighting chance.
🧍 New Humans
A fresh batch of would-be adventurers is storming the mansion, each with unique traits and behaviors. These new prey types will test your ability to adapt and terrify.
🃏 Two New Starter Decks
Two new ways to haunt:
- Creature Starter Deck – Unleash your newly summoned allies.
- Creative Starter Deck – a wildcard option with unpredictable strategies.
The Nightmare Never Ends
With this latest expansion, Deck of Haunts continues to grow darker, deeper, and more devious. But this isn’t the end of the terror—Mantis Games is already hinting at something new creeping in for Halloween, and fans may want to brace for even bigger scares.
If you haven’t yet stepped into the cursed halls of Deck of Haunts, now’s the perfect time. Newcomers can grab the game at 25% off on Steam from September 15–22.
The mansion awaits—will you expand your reign of terror, or fall victim to your own haunted halls?
