Scrubbin’ Trubble Game Brings Dirty, Turn-Based Mayhem to Steam

Scrubbin' Trubble

Scrubbin' Trubble

Odd Object made its official debut at the MIX Summer Game Showcase with the announcement of Scrubbin’ Trubble, a chaotic co-op clean-‘em-up where filth fights back and teamwork is your best weapon. This turn-based roguelike is coming to PC via Steam later this year, and it’s already got players itching to grab a mop, a friend, and dive headfirst into the mess.

🧼 What Is Scrubbin’ Trubble?

It’s turn-based, it’s co-op, it’s weirdly tactical — and it’s filthy in all the right ways.

Set inside the endlessly grimy interiors of “The House,” players will battle their way through muck-filled corridors against pun-packed monsters like Mildude, Asbeastos, and Refusphynx. With roguelike mechanics and a whole lot of cleaning tools, each run is different, chaotic, and surprisingly strategic.

Choose from six RPG-inspired classes, each built around distinct styles:

Whether you go solo or roll with a crew of up to four players (online or local), the goal is simple: scrub every floor clean or start all over.

🧹 Features That Stick

🪠 Built to Be Fun, Not Frustrating

Scrubbin’ Trubble mixes accessible gameplay with deep mechanics. It’s made by devs who know their roguelikes — with credits from Catacomb Kids, Cadence of Hyrule, and more — but it’s built for newcomers and hardcore fans alike.

The session-based structure makes it perfect for spontaneous play, but its class depth, team synergy, and upgrade systems promise a level of strategy that rewards planning and coordination.

📢 Don’t Miss Your Shot to Clean House

Scrubbin’ Trubble is set to hit Steam later this year, with more news (and dirt) to come. Until then, wishlist the game, watch the trailer, and sign up for the mailing list for updates and beta access.

Sometimes, to get clean, you gotta get dirty.
