The world’s premier trombone-based rhythm game celebrates three years of honking with its first official DLC packs, bringing legendary indie soundtracks to PC and VR.
Three years ago, Trombone Champ waltzed onto Steam and refused to apologize for its chaotic energy. It was a meme, it was a challenge, and it was—surprisingly—a genuinely tight rhythm game. Now, developer Holy Wow Studios is cementing the game’s legacy with its first-ever official paid DLC drop, and they aren’t starting small.
Starting today, players on PC and Mac can purchase three distinct “Song Packs” that pay tribute to some of the most powerful soundtracks in modern indie gaming history: UNDERTALE (+ DELTARUNE), Celeste, and Pizza Tower.
Additionally, VR players aren’t being left out of the orchestra pit. Flat2VR Studios has released the Celeste Song Pack simultaneously for Trombone Champ: Unflattened on Meta Quest, SteamVR, and PlayStation VR2.
A Symphony of Indie Legends
This update represents a significant shift for Trombone Champ. While the base game is famous for its public-domain classics and original tracks, inviting licensed tracks from other indie juggernauts elevates the experience into a celebration of the medium’s best music.
Each pack has been meticulously charted to match the specific “vibe” of the game it represents, from the emotional swells of Celeste Mountain to the anxiety-inducing speed of a pizza delivery gone wrong.
The Celeste Song Pack: A Climb for the Soul
- Tracks: 10
- Vibe: Emotional, lengthy, precise.
- VR Support: Yes (Trombone Champ: Unflattened)
Lena Raine’s soundtrack for Celeste is widely considered a masterpiece of video game scoring. Adapting it for a game in which you control a virtual brass instrument with a mouse may seem absurd, but it works.
The Celeste Song Pack brings players to Celeste Mountain, where the gameplay mirrors Madeline’s climb: it requires precision, perseverance, and the willingness to fail and try again. Holy Wow Studios noted that this pack contains fewer tracks (10) than the others, but for a good reason—the songs are significantly longer. The team carefully edited down the original tracks, some of which ran over 10 minutes, to create a rhythm game experience that retains the emotional impact without exhausting the player’s embouchure.
Track List:
- First Steps
- Madeline and Theo
- Resurrections
- Spirit of Hospitality
- Scattered and Lost
- Starjump
- Reflection
- Confronting Myself
- Heart of the Mountain
- Reach for the Summit
For those playing Trombone Champ: Unflattened, this pack is available immediately on VR platforms, allowing you to experience the synesthesia of climbing the mountain in immersive 3D.

The UNDERTALE + DELTARUNE Song Pack: You’re Gonna Have a Bad Time
- Tracks: 14
- Vibe: Challenging, iconic, determined.
If Celeste is about precision, the UNDERTALE + DELTARUNE Song Pack is about survival. Toby Fox’s compositions are legendary for their catchy melodies and frantic pacing, making them a perfect fit for Trombone Champ.
Holy Wow Studios has labeled this the “most demanding” of the three new packs. The charts are designed to push even veteran rhythm gamers to their limits. The pack combines the chiptune nostalgia of UNDERTALE with the punchy, complex beats of DELTARUNE.
Naturally, the pack includes MEGALOVANIA, the song that launched a thousand memes. Trying to keep up with that track on a slide trombone is an experience that balances sincerity with the absurdity of the situation.
Track List:
- UNDERTALE: Once Upon a Time, Bonetrousle, Spear of Justice, ASGORE, Battle Against a True Hero, Hopes and Dreams, Spider Dance, Metal Crusher, Megalovania.
- DELTARUNE: Rude Buster, A CYBER’S WORLD?, Attack of the Killer Queen, The World Revolving, BIG SHOT.

The Pizza Tower Song Pack: Panic is a Playstyle
- Tracks: 14
- Vibe: Fast, intense, chaotic.
Pizza Tower took the indie world by storm with its frantic, Wario Land-inspired gameplay and hyper-kinetic art style. The soundtrack mirrors that energy perfectly. The Pizza Tower Song Pack is described as “14 tracks of pure forward momentum.”
This is the longest of the three DLCs and is built for players who want speed. The music of Pizza Tower doesn’t give you time to breathe, and neither will these charts. If Celeste is a climb and Undertale is a battle, Pizza Tower is a sprint.
Track List:
- Pizza Deluxe
- Put On A Show!
- It’s Pizza Time!
- Funiculi Holiday
- Extraterrestrial Wahwahs
- Oregano Mirage
- Good Eatin’
- Cold Spaghetti
- Yeehaw Deliveryboy
- Pumpin’ Hot Stuff
- What’s On The Kid’s Menu?
- The Death That I Deserved
- Unexpectancy (Part 2 of 3)
- Bye Bye There!
