2V8 Game Mode: A New Dimension of Horror

Running from July 25 to August 8, the 2V8 game mode allows two killers to team up against eight survivors. This mode introduces unique character abilities and a reimagined hook system, making for a truly unique Dead by Daylight experience. My Take on the Update

The addition of the 2V8 mode is a game-changer, adding a fresh layer of strategy and excitement to Dead by Daylight. It’s thrilling to see killers like The Trapper and The Nurse gain new abilities that not only enhance their own gameplay but also support their partners. The re-enabled maps and new variation for Mount Ormond Resort are a welcome change, though I wish these updates came sooner.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

This update also addresses numerous bugs and introduces several gameplay improvements:

Exclusive Rewards

To celebrate the 2V8 mode, the update includes the Blood & Bones Collection, featuring new, grotesquely elegant outfits for both killers and survivors. These items are available in the in-game store and will remain accessible even after the event ends.
