The third update for Enshrouded is here, bringing a variety of new features, improvements, and fixes to enhance your gaming experience. This update focuses on adding new server and difficulty settings, collectible props, and character customization options, along with numerous quality of life changes and bug fixes. Difficulty & Gameplay Settings
Based on player feedback, we’ve introduced adjustable difficulty settings to cater to different playstyles. The options include:
- Default: The standard difficulty, recommended for first-time players.
- Relaxed: Fewer enemies and more resources, ideal for base-building and light adventuring.
- Hard: More aggressive enemies for a tougher combat experience.
- Survival: Includes additional survival mechanics like hunger and dropping your backpack on death.
- Custom: Fully customizable settings, allowing players to adjust over 30 game settings to create their ideal experience.

Collectible Props
You can now display equipment like armor pieces and weapons in your base using new craftable props. Complete armor sets can be changed with a single button press, and collectible items like fossils can be displayed on decorative shelves.
New Character Customization Options
Additional options for creating new characters have been added, including new skin colors, eye colors, eyebrow colors, and six new character presets.
Quality of Life & Balancing
- Crafting Menu: Reworked for easier navigation with larger preview images.
- Points of Interest: Several locations have been reworked or improved.
- Combat Improvements: Blocking and parrying mechanics have been enhanced, and class balancing, especially for mages, has been updated.
- Mage Gameplay: Increased projectile speeds and damage for certain spells, improved homing and speed for the Healer spell, and restructured skill trees for better gameplay experience.
