The highly-wishlisted RPG and city-builder blend from a solo developer is set to launch on November 17.
Publisher Camlann Games and solo developer Uncle Grouch Gaming have announced the much-anticipated Early Access release date for their genre-blending title, Dungeons & Kingdoms. The medieval fantasy game, which merges kingdom building, villager management, and a dungeon-delving RPG, will launch on November 17, 2025, for PC via Steam and GOG.
The game, which has already rocketed to nearly 200,000 wishlists on Steam following a successful Next Fest demo, is described as a single-player hybrid of Medieval Dynasty and Valheim.
Players will start as the leader of a small group of refugees, tasked with building a new home in a new world. This involves a deep kingdom builder where you can design structures piece-by-piece with over 100 unique parts, or lay down blueprints and have your villagers build for you. The game also features a robust villager management system, where each colonist has unique skills, needs, and personalities.
Once your settlement is running, you’ll gear up and dive into dangerous dungeons in a third-person action-RPG combat system. Defeating monsters and dungeon bosses is key to reaping rewards and unlocking new resources to advance your kingdom’s technology.
