tinyBuild and Scythe Dev Team have announced Happy’s Humble BURGATORY — the direct sequel to 2021’s viral first-person cooking horror Happy’s Humble Burger Farm — launching on Steam on July 16, 2026. The game is a 1–4 player co-op experience that blends the chaotic cooking management of Overcooked with the nightmare escalation of Five Nights at Freddy’s, wrapped in the interconnected Scythe Studios universe. And to mark the announcement, the original Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is free to keep on Steam for one week starting today.
The premise: you and up to three others are hired by the Paragon Corporation to run a standard fast-food shift — grill burgers, fry sides, pour drinks, hit your quota, keep customers happy. But the kitchen always wins eventually. When the simulation collapses, Asset Joy breaks containment and begins her hunt. You get one chance to escape with your earnings. The microphone mechanic is the standout design detail: the game literally listens to what you say. Speak the wrong word and Asset Joy hears you. Speak the right incantation and the kitchen warps. Your voice is both a survival tool and a liability.
