Still Wakes the Deep - Siren's Rest

The Chinese Room and Secret Mode have officially launched Siren’s Rest, the brand-new paid story expansion for the multi-BAFTA-winning horror narrative game, Still Wakes the Deep. Available now on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this DLC invites players back to the oil rig that started it all—ten years after it sank beneath the sea.

🛢️ Return to the Beira D

It’s 1986. The wreck of the Beira D oil rig lies deep beneath the North Sea—silent, rusted, and forgotten. But not everything rests easy.

In Siren’s Rest, you play as Mhairi, the leader of a dive team assigned to investigate what truly happened to the doomed crew back in 1975. Equipped with a cutting torch, crowbar, and deep-sea camera, you’ll explore a steel graveyard full of memories, shadows, and something that still stirs in the dark.

💀 More Than a Dive Mission

This isn’t just about discovery—it’s about survival. The rig is a groaning, unstable labyrinth of collapsed metal and haunted hallways. You’ll swim, climb, and squeeze through wreckage, document remains, collect mementos, and listen to voices echoing through fragile ‘80s-era communications.

The atmosphere is thick, the tension suffocating. And the deeper you go, the harder it is to tell what’s real.

🎭 A New Cast, A New Perspective

Siren’s Rest introduces an all-new cast, led by Lois Chimimba as Mhairi, alongside Lorn Macdonald and David Menkin. With direction from Kate Saxon and a new story penned by Sagar Beroshi and Emma Beeby, the expansion adds a fresh, emotional layer to the world of Still Wakes the Deep.
