The 4-player co-op train builder leaves Early Access with a new electricity-based power system and the game’s final chapter, available now on Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
HypeTrain Digital has officially launched the 1.0 version of its first-person co-op survival game, Voidtrain. The game, which has been a popular “Mostly Positive” title during its Early Access run, is now available as a full release as of November 7 on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and is included with Xbox Game Pass.
To celebrate the full launch, the game is available with a 35% discount on Steam for a limited time.
The 1.0 release marks the end of the game’s main development journey and introduces the final, long-awaited pieces of the puzzle: the game’s story finale and a massive new “Tesla Era” technology tier.

In Voidtrain, players are thrust into the Void—a surreal, ever-changing world of floating islands and dangerous anomalies. Starting with nothing but a simple handcar, players (either solo or in 4-player online co-op) must build and upgrade their very own interdimensional train.
The core gameplay loop involves riding the rails, stopping at floating depots and islands to gather resources, solve puzzles, and fight off the Void’s hostile inhabitants, from void sharks to armed soldiers.
What’s New in the 1.0 Launch?
The full release brings the most significant content updates to the game yet, completing the vision for the interdimensional railroad.
- The Tesla Era: A major new technological leap has been added. This electricity-based power system fundamentally changes how you build and manage your train, allowing for more advanced and automated systems.
- The Story Finale: The Engineer’s journey is now complete. The 1.0 version includes the final story chapters, allowing players to finally uncover the long-kept mysteries of the Void.
- New Content & QoL: The update also brings expanded customization options, new decor sets for your train, improved combat feel, and numerous quality-of-life upgrades to the inventory, crafting, and world-setting menus.
This new content is built on the existing framework of crafting powerful weapons, befriending the adorable Rofleemo to make them part of your crew, and surviving the dangers of the Void.
Voidtrain is developed and published by HypeTrain Digital, the studio behind other indie hits like Stoneshard and Breathedge.
