Set on a desolate, post-apocalyptic island filled with abandoned Soviet-era structures, PIONER is an open-world MMO that blends PvE and PvP combat. The game drops players into a grim 50+ square kilometer map, not counting hidden dungeons, and tasks them with surviving. It ditches traditional health bars and character levels for a more realistic and immersive experience.

The Open Beta is substantial, offering around 30 hours of gameplay and a deep dive into the game’s core systems.

Open Beta Content Includes:

Beyond the beta, the full game promises a deep experience with extensive weapon customization, survival mechanics (hunger, rest), an in-depth crafting system, and clan-based social gameplay. Players will align with various factions, take on story quests, and brave the “Shadowlands”—special high-stakes zones for PvP extraction-style gameplay.

PIONER is scheduled for a full release on PC in late 2025, with console versions planned for a later date. You can request access to the Open Beta and wishlist the game now on its official Steam page.
