👑 Sovereign Tower is out now on PC. Wild Wits and Curve Games’ medieval fantasy round-table RPG puts you on the throne, surrounded by eccentric knights with enormous egos — and a demon in the crypts who’ll let you undo your worst decisions.
😈 The Demon in the Crypts Isn’t an Undo Button
Rule badly enough and you can ask the demon beneath the tower to rewind to a specific moment — a beloved knight’s death, a catastrophic lapse in judgement, whatever you’d rather hadn’t happened.
What makes it interesting is that you don’t simply reset. You restart carrying what you learned, and that knowledge unlocks new paths, storylines and dialogue options that weren’t available the first time.
That’s time-loop logic applied to kingdom management: failure stops being a punishment and becomes research. The run where everything went catastrophically wrong is the run that opens doors on the next attempt.
Shall we begin, your grace?
Recover lost relics. Banish great evil. Wrangle stray geese.
Sovereign Tower hands you a kingdom already riddled with deficiencies and a round table you’ll need to fill with knights of questionable heroism. Your job is to balance their egos against your court’s escalating demands, and to steer a realm that’s equally primed for greatness or total devastation.
It’s from Rennes-based Wild Wits, published by Curve Games, and it’s available on Steam now.
Picking the Wrong Knight Has Social Consequences
⚔️ Five Skills, and Knights Who Take It Personally
Every quest calls for a different set of skills — Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic and Wit — and every knight has their own strengths and weaknesses.
Here’s where it gets interesting. Sending the wrong knight doesn’t just risk failing the quest. They may be so offended by the assignment that they leave your round table permanently — or you may simply have sent them to their death.
That turns quest assignment from an optimisation problem into a relationship management one. You’re not just asking who can do this; you’re asking who’ll be insulted if you ask someone else.
💪 Strength
🏃 Agility
💬 Charisma
✨ Magic
🧠 Wit
The quests themselves span the full range of monarchical dignity. Recovering lost relics and banishing great evil sit alongside rounding up stray geese, which tells you roughly where Wild Wits have pitched the tone.
Three Constituencies, All Watching
Each day brings a fresh set of grievances plaguing the realm, and every ruling adjusts your standing with the common people, the nobles, and rival rulers. Three separate affinity tracks pulling in different directions is a reliable way to make decisions uncomfortable — please one and you’re usually irritating another.
You’re not doing it entirely alone. Staff can be hired to support the operation — a blacksmith or a groom to assist your knights on their epically unheroic errands — and the tower itself can be expanded with new annexes and upgrades as you go.
👑 Your Reign, Your Rules
Every choice defines your legacy and the fate of the kingdom, for better or considerably worse.
🛡️ Recruit Eccentrics
A court of unpredictable heroes with big egos and even bigger problems of their own.
🏰 Expand the Tower
Build annexes, acquire upgrades, and out-manoeuvre rival rulers in escalating displays of sovereignty.
💘 Tempt Fate
Uncover secrets, pursue forbidden romances, and rewind anything that goes badly enough wrong.
There’s Bardcore on the Soundtrack
🎵 Hildegard Von Blingin’ Is on the OST
Tucked into the supporter bundle announcement and easy to miss: Sovereign Tower’s soundtrack includes two songs from Hildegard Von Blingin’ — the artist behind the bardcore phenomenon, best known for rendering modern pop in medieval style.
For a game this knowingly silly about the Middle Ages, that’s an inspired piece of casting. Bardcore and Sovereign Tower are doing the same joke from different directions, and putting them together is the sort of detail that suggests somebody involved actually understands the audience.
The supporter bundle is available on Steam from launch and includes the full game plus the soundtrack, released through French label G4F Records.
The community support has been beyond our wildest dreams, and we are so excited to see what players think of the new Knights, quests, and secrets that lie within the tower’s walls.

Wild Wits have forged a royal feast of chaos, with its lovingly imagined world, delightfully unhinged cast, and wit sharper than a knight’s blade.
