Quarantine Zone: The Last Check puts you in charge of a critical checkpoint during a zombie outbreak, using high-tech screening tools and your own instincts to decide who gets through and who stays behind, while you manage resources and defend your camp. The free Miami Zero expansion brings new survivors, new quests and new gameplay, and maybe even a way out.
What’s in Miami Zero
Step into the first days of the outbreak and meet a brand-new cast of quirky survivors.
Study its mutations and trace the infection to its source. Was it really an accident?
Recruit survivors who can help restore a damaged luxury yacht, your best chance of escaping the city.
New symptoms, new tools and new challenges keep you guessing as Miami falls deeper into chaos.
You’ll still need to keep a hastily built checkpoint running, but this time there’s a clear goal beyond survival. The deeper you dig into the virus, the harder it becomes to believe the outbreak was simply an accident, and the more urgently you need that yacht seaworthy.
What We Thought
We reviewed Quarantine Zone: The Last Check at launch in January and gave it an 8/10. We loved its tense, morally weighted inspection gameplay, its tactile tools and its dark humour, though we found the base management shallow, the drone combat clunky, and the endgame too easy once the scanner unlocks.
