Broken Arms Games and publisher Focus Entertainment have announced that BioEden, their new cozy nature-centric management game, arrives on September 3, 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The premise is straightforward and quietly appealing: you’re handed a barren world, and your job is to breathe life back into it. Pre-orders are live now on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox at $19.99, with a special pre-order discount applied.
The Core Mechanics
The demo lays out the four pillars the full game is built on, and they suggest a management sim with a bit more structure to it than pure vibes:
Manage what you have and where it goes — the backbone of the whole system.
Venture out across the barren planet to find what’s left worth saving.
Construct the infrastructure that supports a world coming back to life.
Look after the creatures who return as the planet begins to recover.
That combination — resource and space management sitting alongside animal care — is what nudges BioEden away from being purely a builder. The space-management element in particular suggests decisions with real weight: on a barren world, where you put something matters as much as whether you can afford it.
Who’s Behind It
Launching day-and-date across all four current platforms, including Switch 2, is a solid commitment for a $19.99 cozy title — and the Switch 2 version in particular feels like a natural fit for a relaxing management game.
BioEden releases September 3, 2026. Pre-orders are open on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, and the demo is on Steam now if you’d rather try before you buy.
