Grave Seasons takes that promise and turns it against you. Amid the crops and the relationship building, a supernatural serial killer starts picking off the townsfolk of Ashenridge.

Developer Perfect Garbage and publisher Blumhouse Games have announced that Grave Seasons launches on March 9, 2027 across Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, alongside a new look at gameplay.
It’s a charming, narrative-driven, pixel-art farming sim set in the town of Ashenridge — where the relationship building and crop harvesting you’d expect share space with dark secrets, gruesome killings and an investigation you’ll need to solve before more lives are lost.

It also comes with pressure, and Perfect Garbage is choosing polish over speed. The team says it’s taking additional time to deliver the most cozy, creepy and polished version of Grave Seasons it can, and openly acknowledges that waiting a few more months can be bittersweet for fans.
With that many people waiting, it’s the right call. A cozy game lives or dies on its long-term feel, and the extra time should show.

Who’s Behind It
🎬 A Horror Heavyweight and a Veteran Indie TeamBlumhouse Games, founded in 2023, is the games arm of Blumhouse — the studio behind horror franchises including Halloween, The Purge, The Black Phone, Paranormal Activity, Insidious, M3GAN and Five Nights at Freddy’s, and, since merging with James Wan’s Atomic Monster, The Conjuring and Saw. Grave Seasons is its next release.
Perfect Garbage is a small, fully remote studio formed in 2018, made up of indie and AAA developers whose credits include Borderlands 4, Viewfinder, Demonschool, Tales of Kenzara: ZAU and Lamplighter’s League. They describe their work as bringing dynamic narratives, enthralling gameplay and “a little bit of moral dubiousness” to the forefront.
