📸 Photo Mode
Adjust the scene, weather and lighting, add stickers, and take ridiculously beautiful screenshots. It works with a gamepad too.
⚖️ Easy & Hard
Two new difficulties alongside Normal, affecting everything from available Amalgam to how hard mania and apathy hit.
🎮 Steam Deck Ready
Optimized for Steam Deck and for weaker CPUs, so more players can survive the Town.
💬 Subtitles Your Way
Subtitles for in-game voice-over, and a subtitle language independent of the audio, so you can keep the Russian voice acting with English subtitles.
👁️ New Ways to Deal With Shabnak
One of the Town’s most terrifying creatures has been reworked. Ice-Pick Lodge originally wanted to show Shabnak could be both dangerous and cunning, but admits the two-Shabnak mode “simply didn’t work very well”. It’s been replaced, with one more variation added on top. This time, you’ll need to rely more on paying attention than on quick reflexes.
🛠️ 150+ Changes and Fixes
The full patch notes list over 150 changes and fixes to quests, dialogue, story events and branching outcomes across all 12 days, plus balance changes, level design fixes and roughly 100 typo and text corrections. There are also refined interfaces and controls, better map navigation, audio fixes, ultrawide (21:9) support, and lots of new thoughts from the Bachelor about the world around him. Heads up: the detailed notes contain story spoilers.
Pathologic 3 is a triumph of narrative design and atmospheric horror.
