The enhanced version of the legendary 1999 sci-fi horror RPG arrives on PC and consoles June 26, 2025, bringing both returning fans and new players a polished and modernized take on a true genre-defining classic.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster isn’t just a visual upgrade. Built with care by Nightdive Studios, in collaboration with original developers Looking Glass Studios and Irrational Games, this remaster introduces a fully overhauled multiplayer co-op mode with cross-platform support. For the first time, players across PC and consoles can explore the nightmare aboard the starship Von Braun together—up to 4 players in synced chaos.

Set 42 years after the events of the original System Shock, players awaken on the derelict Von Braun to find themselves cybernetically enhanced—and hunted. SHODAN, the game’s iconic rogue AI antagonist, returns with her army of twisted creations, driving the player to upgrade, adapt, and endure.
Choose between Marine, Navy, or O.S.A. training backgrounds, which influence your playstyle. Lean into firearms, hacking, or psionic abilities—whatever keeps you alive longest.
