🧟 The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival launches September 18, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Console pre-orders open today, and a new pre-order trailer shows off the beat-’em-up action.
🎮 There’s a Free Demo on Steam Right Now
Before you commit to a pre-order, note that a free demo is already available on Steam. For a licensed beat-’em-up, being able to test whether the combat actually feels good before launch day is genuinely useful — and it’s the smartest way to evaluate this one.
Survival isn’t given. It’s earned.
Brutal melee combos, crowd-clearing ranged attacks, and multi-phase boss fights against Negan and the Saviors — all for twenty dollars.
TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media have announced that The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival launches on September 18 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
It’s a single-player beat-’em-up set in the world of AMC’s The Walking Dead, built around fast-paced brawls against walker swarms and the Saviors. Console pre-orders are live today, and the accompanying trailer leans hard into the bloody, arcade-flavoured action.
Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses
Standard Edition
$19.99
The base game. A notably approachable price point for a licensed title from a major franchise.
Deluxe Edition
$29.99
Base game plus the Arcade Apocalypse Pack: bonus weapon skins, a premium Rick skin, the digital soundtrack, Hardcore difficulty mode, and Endless Survival mode.
🎁 Golden Survival Pack — Console Pre-Orders
Pre-order either edition on consoles and you’ll receive the Golden Survival Pack at launch, containing seven golden weapon skins.
Worth noting: the announcement specifies pre-orders opening today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. PC pre-order details weren’t included — Steam players may want to check the store page, or simply grab the free demo in the meantime.
The two modes locked to Deluxe are the interesting part of that split. Endless Survival in particular reads as the mode most likely to give this game legs — a neverending walker onslaught to test how long you can chain combos, signature weapon attacks and finishers together. For a beat-’em-up, that’s often where the replay value actually lives.
Fighting Walkers, Saviors, and Negan
☠️ Fan-Favourite Bosses
Streets of Survival is pulling deep on the show’s roster. You’ll face powerful walkers including Winslow and the Well Walker, alongside multi-phase boss battles against Negan, Simon and the Saviors. The pitch is that these test skill and strategy rather than just health bars.
Those are well-chosen picks. Winslow and the Well Walker are exactly the sort of specific, memorable set-pieces that reward actually knowing the show — the kind of deep-cut selection that suggests someone on the team cares about the source material rather than just licensing the logo.
👊 Hard-Hitting Combat
Brutal melee combos, crowd-clearing ranged attacks, or a mix of both. Responsive fighting built for fast-paced brawls.
🧟 Overwhelming Swarms
Creeping armies of the undead plus dangerous Savior gangs, forcing you to fight for every inch as new threats emerge.
🌳 Skill Trees
Master each character’s moveset and level up abilities through unique skill trees across multiple difficulty levels.
🔁 Built for Repeat Runs
An arcade challenge structure designed for replaying — with an optional Easy Mode if you’d rather keep it casual.

Who’s Making It
🎮 TRAILMARK Games
A small, focused team of industry veterans building premium titles around globally recognised IP, partnering with independent developers to make games that function as authentic extensions of established worlds. Their stated goal is games “worthy of the fans, worthy of the franchises.”
📺 AMC Global Media
Home to The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, with a portfolio spanning AMC+, Shudder, Sundance Now and more. AMC Studios is the in-house operation behind the franchise itself — meaning this is an officially sanctioned extension rather than a distant licensing deal.
AMC’s direct involvement is worth noting, and it’s the second game they’ve been attached to in recent weeks alongside the Creepshow adaptation. The network is clearly taking its game output more seriously than licensed TV tie-ins have historically warranted.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival arrives September 18 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2 and Steam, at $19.99 for Standard and $29.99 for Deluxe. The free Steam demo is available now.
