🎤 How we reviewed it: we played both Let’s Sing 2027 and Let’s Sing ABBA on PS5. Both launch today, November 3, so there aren’t any player reviews to round up yet.

Let’s Sing ABBA is a returning ABBA-only edition with 32 songs, now including I Have A Dream, released for the 50th anniversary of Dancing Queen. 🚿 Your Shower Concert Just Got an Upgrade
You know how it goes. Someone suggests karaoke. Someone else insists they can’t sing. And five minutes later, that very same person is giving the performance of a lifetime in your living room.
Let’s Sing 2027 brings 35 international hits, a new Vocal Preference Mode, and a story-driven Party Mode where you take on DJ Hush and bring the music back to the city. Let’s Sing ABBA returns with 32 legendary ABBA songs and seven ways to play them. Grab the mic, or your phone, and take center stage.
Two karaoke nights in a box: one for the charts, one for the Dancing Queens.
Let’s Sing has become a yearly fixture, and THQ Nordic and developer Voxler are doing something a little different this time. Alongside the annual Let’s Sing 2027, they’re bringing back Let’s Sing ABBA, now with an extra song and a Switch 2 debut. They’re two very different playlists for very different crowds. Both are easy to pick up, both work with just a phone, and both are built for living room parties more than serious singing practice.
Our verdict: “Let’s Sing 2027 keeps the karaoke party simple and welcoming with a fresh chart playlist and smart vocal options, while Let’s Sing ABBA is a no-brainer for anyone who knows every word to Mamma Mia.”
What’s New in Let’s Sing 2027
The core formula hasn’t changed: sing along to official music videos, hit the notes, and chase high scores. This year adds a few welcome tweaks on top.
🎧 Vocal Preference Mode
Sing with the full original vocals, an audio guide, or an instrumental track, depending on how much help you want.
🎮 Party Mode
A lighthearted story for 1–2 players with three new singing mini-games. Beat DJ Hush and save Soundtown from silence.
👩🎤 Fresh Avatars
New avatars, outfits, skins, poses, titles and banners to unlock and show off in the Backstage menu.
📱 Phone as a Mic
No microphone? The free Let’s Sing Companion app (iOS 15 or Android 8.0 and up) turns your phone into one.
The 2027 Playlist
🎶 35 Hits, From Espresso to Iris
The 2027 setlist leans modern without forgetting the crowd-pleasers. You get Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With A Smile, Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, Alex Warren’s Ordinary, Chappell Roan’s The Subway, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s luther, Teddy Swims’ The Door and Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra. Older picks include Drake’s God’s Plan, Lorde’s Royals, Imagine Dragons’ Enemy from Arcane and The Goo Goo Dolls’ Iris.
You can compete in Classic mode, harmonize in the co-op Feat mode, or play Party Mode. Up to four players can sing locally, and the PS Store listing shows support for four online players. Some songs are regional, so the exact playlist can vary by edition.
The VIP Pass Shake-Up
⭐ 151 More Songs, With a Catch
The VIP Pass subscription is where the long-term value lives. It unlocks 151 extra songs at launch, and one month is included with the Standard Edition and 2 Mic Bundle. The digital Gold ($49.99) and Platinum ($59.99) editions include three and twelve months.
The catalog is also changing. As some song licenses expire, THQ Nordic is renewing the most popular tracks, like Aqua’s Barbie Girl, George Michael’s Careless Whisper and Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved. Less popular songs are being withdrawn, and new additions include Stand By Me, Heavy Cross, Girls Just Want To Have Fun and Pentatonix’s Hallelujah. That keeps the list fresh, but it also means songs you like could disappear from the pass.
Let’s Sing ABBA: Thank You for the Music
🕺 32 Songs, Seven Modes, Up to Eight Singers
Let’s Sing ABBA is a returning edition built for fans. On PS5 it has 32 songs, including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, The Winner Takes It All, SOS, Super Trouper and the newly added I Have A Dream.
It also has more ways to play than 2027: Classic, Feat., the solo Legend mode, the medley-generating Mix Tape 2.0, online World Contest, Juke Box, and Let’s Party. Let’s Party splits up to eight players into two teams, using two USB mics and/or four smartphones, with up to four audio inputs. A Playlist Creator lets you build your own set for Classic, Feat. and Mix Tape. If you’ve been to an ABBA-themed party, you already know how this goes.
Where They Stumble
⚠️ A Few Off-Key Notes1. A yearly reset. Let’s Sing 2027 is another full-price annual release, and the formula is very familiar. If you own last year’s game, the main draws are the 35 new songs and the new modes.
2. A subscription for the big catalog. Thirty-five songs is a solid party playlist, but the bigger library sits behind the VIP Pass, and only one month is included in the Standard Edition.
3. Rotating songs. Withdrawing less popular songs makes room for new ones, but your favorites aren’t guaranteed to stay.
4. ABBA is ABBA. Let’s Sing ABBA is a returning game with one new song. It’s a celebration for fans, not a must-buy for everyone else, and $39.99 for a single-artist setlist is a big ask if you only know a handful of the hits.

The Verdict
Let’s Sing 2027 doesn’t reinvent karaoke, and it doesn’t really need to. It’s a welcoming party game with a fresh chart playlist, a smart Vocal Preference Mode for nervous singers, a cute new Party Mode, and phone support that means nobody gets left out. Let’s Sing ABBA is the easy pick for fans, with more modes and an eight-player party setup that suits a crowd.
The VIP Pass is still where the bigger catalog lives, and songs rotating out of it won’t please everyone. If you already own last year’s game, the new setlist is the main reason to upgrade.
The honest read: buy Let’s Sing 2027 for a modern karaoke night, buy Let’s Sing ABBA if your group knows every word to Mamma Mia, and add the VIP Pass only if you host often.
