📷 Find the Cat, Bring Back the Colour
Cat Me If You Can puts a lovely twist on the hidden object genre. All life has frozen in time in a black-and-white world, and the only way to bring it back is to find every hidden cat. Each one you photograph and log in your notebook restores the colour of its fur to the world.
It’s played in 3D, across black-and-white, comic-style handcrafted levels packed with detail, so you’ll be peering around corners and behind curious contraptions. And with more than 725 cats to find, there’s a lot of looking to do.
725 cats, all of them hiding, none of them sorry
Cat Me If You Can from Cosmic Stag Games, co-published by Craftmos Games, is a cosy hidden cat puzzle adventure. Explore handcrafted worlds, track down cleverly concealed cats, capture their best moments with your camera, and solve riddles and contraptions to reach the most elusive ones of all.
Three Worlds of Hidden Cats
The game spans 9 handcrafted levels across 3 themed worlds, each inspired by real-world cultures and packed with details to discover:
🏺 Ancient Egypt
Sun-soaked sands inspired by Ancient Egypt, with plenty of places for a cat to hide.
🏮 Modern Japan
Intimate city streets, plus cats reimagined as creatures from Japanese folklore.
🏰 Medieval Castles
Quiet corners of majestic castles, and cats working medieval jobs.
This cozy indie gem from Cosmic Stag Games is a delightful treasure hunt wrapped in gorgeous black-and-white aesthetics.

🧩 More Than Just Looking
Not every cat is easy to spot. Some are hidden behind riddles, locked doors and curious contraptions, and there are more than 50 quests and puzzles to solve as you decode clues and uncover hidden pathways. Players also mention special cats in disguise. If you get stuck, players say a radar, a tracker and an adjustable hint timer help keep the hunt from getting frustrating.
What Players Are Saying
Early reception is glowing, at 98% positive on Steam. Players call it cute, relaxing and beautiful, and say it offers plenty of game for the price, with one taking around 10 hours to reach 100%. The few complaints are about smaller things: a hint system that sometimes points to areas you haven’t reached yet, an occasionally buggy cursor, a PC that runs a little hot, and one player wishing it were longer.
♿ Motion Sensitivity Note
A few players have reported motion sickness or dizziness while exploring the 3D levels. The game includes camera comfort options, so if you’re prone to it, check the settings before you start. It also offers colour alternatives, adjustable difficulty and full controller support.
