Path Games and Selecta Play have announced that Dark Mass — a first-person psychological horror game set entirely underwater — will receive a physical release on PlayStation 5 in both a Standard Edition and a Collector’s Edition. A new trailer released alongside the announcement showcases the physical editions and offers a deeper look at Alice’s descent into a sunken manor beneath the ocean floor.
The game follows Alice, a deep-sea explorer who sets out with her brother Reed to investigate the remains of an ancient shipwreck uncovered by a seismic event. Beneath the wreck lies something far more disturbing: a sunken manor, strangely preserved despite centuries of submersion. What begins as an expedition becomes a fight for survival — trapped in the depths, stalked by something ancient, navigating flooded halls and ritual puzzles to uncover what should have stayed buried.
