Far Far West has had a remarkable launch. Publisher Fireshine Games and developer Evil Raptor have announced that their co-op cowboy bounty hunting shooter crossed 250,000 copies sold within its first 48 hours on Steam Early Access, landing at the top of Steam’s Top Sellers chart for premium games.
The game launched with over 700,000 wishlists built up through multiple betas and a strong showing at February’s Steam Next Fest. In its opening two days, it hit 26,000 concurrent players and is currently sitting at a 97% user review score — one of the strongest launch receptions for an Early Access title in recent memory.
For Fireshine Games, the result continues a run of successful launches for the London-based publisher, following Core Keeper’s million-plus seller status in 2024.
Evil Raptor — a team of eight based in France — will continue building out Far Far West throughout its Early Access period, adding content and making changes based on community feedback.
