Metanet — the two-person developer duo behind one of the longest-running indie platformer franchises in existence — has announced N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO at Day of the Devs during Summer Game Fest. The latest entry in the N series, which began as a Flash game in 2004 and reached over 100 million players on the web before spawning N+, N++, and a devoted competitive community, is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
The pitch is exactly what the series has always been — ultra-fast, physics-driven ninja platforming with momentum as the core skill — remixed from the ground up for party and competitive multiplayer. The title’s described as a friendship-ending couch party game with a low skill floor and, in true Metanet fashion, no skill ceiling. Five game modes across online and local play, 50+ hand-curated tracks sourced from Bandcamp, and cosmetic ninja customisation round out the most complete N package to date.

What Makes It N
Core Features
22 Years of N
The N franchise is one of the longest-running continuous indie platformer lineages in gaming — starting as a Flash game in 2004 from a two-person team, reaching over 100 million web players, landing on handheld and console hardware with N+ and N++, and accumulating a devoted hardcore community across the entire run. N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO is Metanet’s biggest multiplayer bet yet: a game designed from the start to be played competitively alongside friends, with modes built specifically to create the kind of high-stakes moments that end and cement friendships in equal measure.
