Acclaim and Nigerian solo developer Fer Factor have debuted a new trailer for Tossdown during the Black Voices in Gaming Summer Game Fest Showcase — the seventh annual event dedicated to spotlighting games and creators from Black developers around the world. The trailer offers the clearest look yet at the game’s delivery-courier chaos: a rogue-like action game where you dash, crash, and smash through biomes packed with deadly hazards, wacky power-ups, and towering bosses — all while racing to get your packages delivered on time.
Described by the developer as Crazy Taxi meets Jet Set Radio, Tossdown is a Dreamcast-era-inspired sprint through a city that actively wants to kill you. Built by Feranmi Oladosu of Fer Factor — a solo developer working out of Nigeria, where the local game development industry is still finding its footing — the game’s international showcase at this event is a meaningful milestone both for the project and for the creator behind it.
