Cat-Astrophy is a fast-paced action roguelite that mixes frantic real-time combat, precision platforming and parkour across procedurally generated planets. Every run starts from scratch and death is permanent. The only things that survive are the star fragments you collect, which buy upgrades for your next attempt. According to the studio, a full run takes around 3–4 hours.
A New Build Every Run
At the heart of Cat-Astrophy are the Stellar Cursor and its modules, which combine differently on every run and completely change how you play. Finding a synergy nobody saw coming is what keeps pulling you back in.
Jump, dash and fight with precision in real-time combat across hostile planets.
Combine modules, abilities and upgrades into completely different strategies each run.
Procedural planets with alternate routes, secrets, new bosses, enemies and biomes.
Star fragments carry over between runs, unlocking permanent upgrades and new possibilities.
It’s all wrapped up in colourful, detail-rich pixel art. As the store page puts it: every run is different, every defeat makes you stronger, and every victory is earned.
