Game: Gloria Victis: Medieval MMORPG
Event: Halloween 2026
Dates: October 21 – November 4
Publisher: gamigo
Price: Free-to-play
Platform: PC (Steam)
Genre: Medieval open-world MMORPG
🎃 Gloria Victis’ Halloween event is live now through November 4, with special quests, a new Headless Horseman boss, seasonal rewards, and the star attraction: a community manager transformed into a giant raid boss on every server. The game is free-to-play on Steam.
👻 Challenge the GM
This Halloween, publisher gamigo is letting players take a swing at the staff. In the “Challenge the GM” community event, community manager GV Spectre becomes a giant raid boss, appearing on each server at a scheduled time.
Team up with your nation, bring him down, and earn rewards. Revenge for every nerf you’ve ever complained about? We couldn’t possibly comment.
Trick, treat, or topple the community manager.
Gloria Victis is a free-to-play, low-fantasy medieval MMORPG with skill-based non-target combat, open PvP, territory control and large-scale battles, plus quests, PvE events, crafting and a player-driven economy. It returned under gamigo with an official relaunch earlier this year, and its first Halloween since then is a fun one.
When to Fight the Giant GM
GV Spectre appears at 21:00 server time on each server, separately for each nation, with each fight lasting around 1 hour and 40 minutes:

📜 Halloween Questboards
Visit a questboard in your nation’s capital. There are 18 Halloween quests in total, including taking down the Spider Queen in the Catacombs and completing the Night Ritual.
🐴 The Headless Horseman
A new boss who roams the world. Defeat him and two skeleton-marked black horses appear for you to tame.
🌊 The Sea Wraith Event
Travel to the Island of Wraiths and investigate the mysterious mushrooms that have sprung up there.
🏏 Spookbert’s Club
A chance to get your hands on the weapon Spookbert wielded in the Volcano Event.
🍬 Candy, Quests & Rewards
Each Halloween quest rewards 100 Candy, and you can take up to three at a time. Finish all three and a 4-hour cooldown starts before the next batch. Pumpkin icons on the map mark other activities that pay out Candy too. Trade it with Pat’Shriek for consumables with unique effects, new Heraldry symbols, and the Pumpkin Helmet of the Harvester of Souls skin.
🎃 Hunting the Horseman: Pro Tip
The Headless Horseman spawns every hour in Loot Zones and every three hours in Non-Loot Zones. You’ll get a notification with his approximate location, but he isn’t marked on the map, so you’ll need to track him down. Guilds also get a bonus this week: up to 3 Siege Tokens weekly for high guild activity.
