The demo drops you into the Labyrinth, the shifting hellscape at the heart of the mythology, where the Scarlet Church has taken possession of the coveted Genesis Configuration — the puzzle box everyone in this world is willing to die for.
You’ll meet the main characters and their “twisted machinations,” and get to grips with the fundamentals: combat, crafting and puzzle solving, across an ever-shifting realm of nightmares.
It’s a survival-horror action game, so expect resource pressure alongside the violence — and, given the source material, plenty of things you can’t unsee.

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a Steam demo for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, letting players experience an early stretch of the game ahead of its October 8 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Alongside the demo, a new trailer — which premiered at this year’s Fantastic Fest at Alamo Drafthouse — introduces the cult at the centre of the story: the Scarlet Church.

The new trailer focuses on one of the game’s core antagonists: Marlowe, and his sacred — or sacrilegious — Scarlet Church.
Backed by an army of unholy priests, deviants and cultists, Marlowe is hunting the Genesis Configuration puzzle box for his own ends, with the stated goal of creating a debauched paradise for mankind.
And the recruitment pitch is pure Barker: “with every slice and drop of blood,” the Church gathers those bold enough — or foolish enough — to covet Hell’s blasphemous temptations and gifts.
It’s a smart choice of villain for a game rather than a film. A cult gives you an army to fight, a belief system to unpick, and a reason for the Labyrinth to be crawling with people who want what you’re carrying.
